    The Physics of the Premium

    Two of the milestones in the SpaceX founder-comp package are not financial. They are physical. This tool turns them into physics and money, names the binding constraint, and labels what is demonstrated technology versus aspiration.

    The tool does not return a flat possible or impossible. Every result is conditional on your assumptions and identifies the wall the design hits first.

    In vacuum, heat leaves only by radiation. Stefan–Boltzmann sets the wall: Q = ε σ A (T⁴ − T_env⁴). At hyperscale the cooling wall breaks first, and at the 100-TW milestone scale it breaks spectacularly. Adjust temperature, emissivity, rad-hardening derate, and launch cost to see where your design closes, becomes marginal, or fails.
